A list of UK Independent Bookshops, including LGBTQ+ and black-owned Bookshops
Updated: Jun 26, 2021

As a book podcast, fellow book buying addicts, and in celebration of Independent Book Week, we encourage our listeners to buy their books from independent bookshops. It's particularly important during this time of Covid 19 to support small businesses. We've been gathering lists of booksellers for our recent episodes of the podcast, but I thought I would list them all in one place. I have linked to those that offer home delivery. Most can order any book you want, so just because they don't have an online catalogue doesn't mean you can't order your book haul from them. I hope you find this list useful.

Independent Bookshops across the UK
There are hundreds of independent bookshops across the UK and having just had a quick look through a few of their websites, most offer online ordering and nationwide delivery. And if they don't, many allow you to order into the store and pick up safely. Rather than recreate a list here I shall link you to the Booksellers Association website. They have a full list of independent bookshops and an easy search facility. Search for your nearest and dearest, or just take a lucky dip and order from anywhere in the country!
